The Cozumel Cowl by Justyna Lorkowska, featuring three coordinated palettes of Rowan Pebble Island is the first of our monthly Stitch Yarn Studio Kits.
The Cozumel cowl is worked flat and seamed to create a loop. It features a simple slipped stitch mosaic pattern on a garter-stitched background, which is ideal for everyone wanting to try simple colorwork for the first time, as well as for knitters who know it well.
Pebble Island is natural, renewable, biodegradable, breathable, hypoallergenic, resilient, and elastic yarn, making it comfortable to knit with and wear. Originating in the Falkland Islands, this special location is where some of the world’s finest pure merino wool is grown and then carefully shorn by hand before shipping to the UK, where Rowan has it spun and dyed into a nature-inspired palette.
This kit includes five skeins of yarn (118 yds each) and the Cozumel pattern. The retail price of the individual yarn is $102.00.
