Participants choose a project from a "menu" of periodically changing shawl patterns. Each pattern is carefully selected (and test-knit!) to demonstrate a range of shawl skill levels and techniques, such as cables, beadwork, colors, textures, lace, and entrelac, and more.
Your Shawl Workshop fee ensures you will have support from cast-on to bind-off - no matter how long it takes you to complete your shawl. During each weekly Shawl Workshop, a knowledgeable Stitch facilitator will be available to answer questions, offer help, and provide encouragement. As you build your skills, you will also be interacting with and supported by a community of shawl knitters - not to mention making new fiber friends!
When you finish one shawl, take a break...or find another one to cast on. The $35 Shawl Workshop fee is due at the beginning of each project you choose.
Please note that this is not a beginning knitting class. Shawl Workshop is best suited for knitters who are proficient and experienced with knitting techniques: stockinette stitch, garter stitch, casting on and binding off.
